When will you send the Employee Notice for the PRPP/VRSP?

* The effective date of the agreement and the VRSP is subject to you having provided TELUS Health with the employee data. If you do not provide the employee data, the effective date shall be delayed until you will have provided TELUS Health with the employee data.

The effective date of your RRSP/TFSA contracts is the date you have signed them electronically.

“Applicant” refers to the person filling out this application. The applicant could be an individual investor, an administrator of an organization or the signing officer of an organization.

“Signing Authority” refers to the person authorized to execute contracts that may be entered into on behalf of your company.

“Administrator” refers to the person within your company who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the plan, which includes registering all targeted employees and any other employees who request to participate in the plan.

“Employee Contribution Change” refers to how often an employee is allowed to change his/her contribution rate. Employer must allow for a minimum of two modifications to the contribution rate per year.

"Payroll Provider" refers to a payroll service provider that has entered into an agreement with TELUS Health for the exchange and transfer of employee data. If your payroll provider does not appear in the list, select the Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) payment method.

New payroll providers will be added to the list soon. You will be able to change payment method once your service provider is added to the list.

The payroll program account number consists of the following: the Business Number (BN), the letters RP, indicating the type of account (payroll), the 4-digit reference number used to identify each account. This number is assigned to you by the Government of Canada. If you do not have this number, please go to Government of Canada website
